Challenge Host
The current situation prevailing the world has seen an increased demand for masks, gloves, bodysuits and other PPEs. These items have been manufactured with existing production lines and have been used before, constantly. However, with increased demand and stringent requirements, PPE shortage is evident. The supply chain community across the globe manages stock-out conditions quite effectively but current solutions have not been able to prevent the shortage in PPEs.
Disruption in their production and delays in their delivery is compounding the problem. To better understand the cause of this shortage and to mitigate its impact, this project researches attributes particular to the consumption of supplies in general and healthcare products specifically.
