About the tool
We are encouraging jobseekers to perform a job search using their skills as a base whose industry or role has been permanently or severely impacted by the Covid pandemic.
Typically people search for job titles when looking for roles, based on the jobs they’ve done previously. In situations where a whole industry has few available jobs, this can lead to empty search results.
We reasoned that if we offered people a way to their cross-transferrable skills, we can reduce reliance on Government schemes leading to higher employment and a faster time to employment for jobseekers.
