2021 has begun with the same momentum that powered the huge strides made by the Emergent Alliance in 2020.
Though the light at the end of the long, dark Covid tunnel grows brighter, with vaccines being rolled out at pace, there remains a long journey ahead. In 2021, we’ll be taking on a different direction with the way our service is consumed and be working to reshape and repurpose the Alliance for the good of society on a broader scale.
Our products and services will be procured by the business community with the introduction of a new model. This change means we’re investing in our product set, our go-to-market approach, and we’re bringing in more experts to help us deliver against our vision and mission.
Our teams are focused, and their guidance is clear. The release of our products and tools across a range of freemium, paid licensing, and bespoke subscription models is now the objective.
You can expect a greater cadence of activity across social and news channels, as well as enquiry generation through the website. We’ll also be ramping our internal comms and sharing success and best practice across all of our community.
Introducing the RRPI bundle
Launching on 4th February is our first bundle, the RRPI tool. The tool provides access to four key services across Regional Risk Pulse Index including:
- Cookie-Cutter:A labelling and data selection tool that provides data-driven knowledge management of infection data.
- Emergent Economic Engine: A tool that provide a ‘what if’ simulation that models scenarios of economic shock across a range of sectors.
- Chatbot:A travel advice tool based on health and travel restriction measures caused by Covid-19 across the globe.
- Travel Restrictions Dashboard:Entry limitations for foreign travellers as well as travel corridor-selected countries.
On launch date, site visitors will be able to access free trials of these four products, alongside greater access across our commercial model to inform and support their own businesses.
Live projects are flourishing
At present, the Emergent Alliance has 10 live projects ongoing including: Nottinghamshire NHS; Nottingham City Council/D2N2; REED; RSSB; Aviation; Regional Risk Pulse Index & Forecast Simulation; Supply Chain Resilience; PPE – Masks User Experience; as well as sustainability projects covering both consumer behaviour and trends and the impact on supply and demand of energy.
We will be showcasing the insights of these challenge statements across our external marketing platforms and will be added to our journey to-date.
Go-to-market activities
Supporting the 2021 commercialisation and availability of products, we have created a marketing function to support profile raising and lead generation for the alliance. This will support both internal stakeholders and help to drive awareness in our target communities.
The marketing sprint commenced mid-January, bringing together a group of marketing professionals across PR, digital, content, social and campaigns to take our new approach to the business community.
Also, keep an eye out for an exclusive video from Senior EA members covering ‘Why the Emergent Alliance?’, our incredible journey throughout 2020, and details of the emerging structure for 2021. We are also organising and sending out invites for an exclusive forum where the Directors of the EA will elaborate on the new changes in structure and vision for 2021.
